Varg Vikernes - born Kristian Vikernes

He is a writter, musician and one of the most important characters in the black metal history with Quorthon, Pelle & Øystein.
He started in a crust/punk band before to join the death metal band Old Funeral.
He formed his own one-man band in 1991.
In 1993, Vikernes faced a trial and was sentenced to 21 years in prison for church burnings and especially the murder of Øystein Aarseth (Euronymous).
He was released on May 24, 2009.
He left Norway and now he's living in France with his wife Marie Cachet and their children.
According to him, because Øystein was too incompetent to release Burzum albums on Deathlike Silence Prod., Varg decided to start his own label called "Burznazg" that was changed in 1993 to Cymophane Records.
