Helvete
During May-June 1991 (around June 10, more precisely), Euronymous, Occultus and Thrasher opened a record shop named "Helvete" (Hell).
The idea was from Euronymous.
It was a place where Norwegian black metal musicians often met at the shop and in its basement; including
Euronymous, Varg, Samoth, Bard Eithun, Stian Occultus, Snorre Ruch, etc....
Some of them lived and worked in the shop at various time, they did everythings by themselves ;
The responsability of opening, closing, being present was on a week rotation.
Hellhammer was there regulary, Manheim came one time and Jørn never came, at the time him and Øystein were not the best friends anymore..
According to Occultus, the space was too big and the rent too high, only a small part of the building was used for the shop itself.
The shop was shut in early 1993 when it began to draw the attention of the police and media.
According to Varg, when he was arrested, Euronymous closed down the shop because his parents thought the attention was too uncomfortable. (Burning churches, arrestation, treats, etc...)
After the closure, all letters, tapes, etc.. were thrown in the garbage on orders from Øystein's father.
------
Few times later, Helvete Shop became a bread shop.
No weapons, black walls and reversed cross anymore.
------
In July 2013, Neseblod Records moved to the old locations of Helvete.
A resurrection, now it is rebuilt, from a dark past.
Neseblod Records :
Schweigaardsgate 56, 0656 Oslo - Norway.
____________________________
"Black Circle" or "Black Metal Inner Circle".
The name was invented by Euronymous, but according to Varg and Faust it never existed.
It was just a rumor to increase the serious and extreme side of their acts and "community".
A fake to make people who hung around the shop believe there was such a thing.
